Cannot edit my posts

QuickEdit opens the window, but doesn't accept the changes when I click "Submit Reply." Regular edit comes back with a message that I am not allowed to edit the post.

Furthermore, I tried to search to see if this was already reported, and got a grey screen with "Done" at the bottom on each attempt.

Yes, I was logged in. It was the same session during which I had posted the original message.

If this sentence is here, Quick Edit worked now.

Excellent.

Now, if this one is here, the regular edit worked.

I still can't edit, Quick or regular, I was and am logged on.
