My daughter uses a Belkin 54g card to connect to the wireless network at
school. We have an 802.11b network at home and she has used a Netgear
USB MA101 to connect to it. The Netgear connection to the Netgear
router worked with no problem before she installed the Belkin. Now that
she is home on break, the Netgear connection does not work, even when
the Belkin card is not physically in the computer. I tried to get the
Belkin card to work on our network (it recognizes it) and entered the
keys for the WEP encryption. However, it doesn't work. She is using a
laptop with Windows 2000 Professional. Any suggestions on how to get
her on the net without uninstalling the Belkin?
