Well you could go for a 7600gt.That way you would have sm3.0 support which your current card does not have. However the 7600 only has a 128 bit interface which is slower than the 256bit you have on your current card. But them again the 7600 also runs higher clock speeds than the 6800.You could also look at the new x1900 which is slated to come out for agp very soon.Or you could try to find the 7800gs.But for the 150 dollar price range,a 7600 is your best way to go.Goodluck.

Well honestly neither the 6800XT or a 7600GT is an improvement. The 6800XT would actually be a step down, and the 7600GT be nearly identical to the x850 except for the HDR. I would suggest saving your money and upgrading to PCIex later

Go with Itheral's idea or the X1950 Pro or nVidia's response to the AGP X1950 Pro. nVidia is pissed at ATI for doing that, should make some great AGP competetion.

ok thanks for the help I think I will be waiting to upgrade when I get a new computer with the PCI-E slots since my x850 seems to still perform well

Yeah, just stay away from that 6800XT. That will be a performance decrease.

dont get the 68xt. go for the 76gt or just keep your x850.
