Hello
could someone possibly name a 16-bit 5-Volt PCMCIA-WLAN-card, that
works in the Libretto 50ct with Win95?
Thanks

That's 2 questions - 16-bit pcmcia card?...
recent posts say Belkin "6020," Linksys WPC11 and Microsoft MN-520. My
experience is with the last, can't vouch for exact model #s for the
others. Linksys WPC11 specs call for a 32-bit PCMCIA slot. Msoft says
only "PC Card type II extended," but it works in my 1996 Acernote
Light 350PC.
Win95?...
Everything I read says no. The MN-520 comes w/software that says it
works with Win98 (non SE), but almost everything wants Win98SE or
later.
At TigerDirect, the desc. for the Belkin F5D6020 (which may be the
same as the Belkin 6020 cited by a user in this group) claims the card
has software for Win95 Rev. B. Check carefuly... TigerDirect is not
known as a technical powerhouse.

Hi cp;
Go on Ebay and look for an Orinoco Gold Card. Sold also with th Lucent and
Avaya brand names.
Win 95 drivers are available for download and it is a 16 bit 5 volt card.
You will be getting one of the best pcmcia cards ever made. It also has a
built in antenna connector.
