Dell intros it's first AMD servers today

Yes kiddies, the time has come Dell has announced two AMD servers today and will begin shippng them.

The models are the PowerEdge 6950 (never thought I'd see that) starting at $6499 and the SC135 staring at $1299..

Yeah a loaded 4 proc is definitely not cheap. That's one of the best prices I've seen though. HP is closer to $30K.
