I have not chose the Monitor yet, and do the fans that come already on a case work well enough?

The stock case fans should be fine. As for the monitor get what you can. I think people focus too much on the monitor. There are some things to consider when looking at LCD monitors. But then i'm happy using good old CRT's. Then i don't have to worry about native resolutions. I get the size i want and then i can go with the resolution i want.

I suppose the monitor is more of a personal opinion anyway thanks for the reply, can anyone tell me if only having 1 gig of ram will effect game play that much particulary on the games i have listed?

Hiya. What's your budget? I would go with the Gigabyte DS3 mobo...pretty cheap but also stable. The PSU you can knock down to 500w if your not going crossfire and think about getting Antec or Thermaltake PSU's for example...pretty stable. PSU are very important, you could damage your system with a flimsy one. The case is fine.

Check my signature, I bought all of these components for $1100 bucks (not including $80 in mail-in-rebates) It's great when Im playing the Sims2 (pets), Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, Caesar IV, Civilization IV). I also got 2200 points using my amazon.com card lol.

LOL Evercrack??? I played the first one, was afraid of getting hooked on the second one lol...Im a recovering Evercrack adict.

I like my CRT also lol.

Haha yeah I love MMORPG's, yeah i know the PSU is an important factor but i heard good things about the the Hyper ones i will look at the ones you have suggested though, by the way what CRT do you have?

Yeah, all that stuff looks fine, and don't worry that psu is fine.
From what i can tell, if my pc which is really crap, can play CSS, that there would kill the game no sweat. My friend had his graphics maxed out on CSS with a ATI X800 series and same amount of ram, you should be fine. As for the monitor, if you really on such a tight budget, get a good 19" or bigger CRT monitor.

Oh and mikeny, he lives in Britain prices in North America are way way cheaper then over here in Britain.
New_Faith, send me a message if you would like to game a bit eh?

I have an 18" NEC AccuSync 75F. MPilch is right, you can change the screen resolution to whatever you like ( quite a few options) up to the maximum stated on a CRT but on a LCD you dont have that flexability.

I have a Thermaltake PSU and it was a piece pf cake to install, all cables were labeled and it has the nessesary PCI-E cable. I got it in Microcenter for $75 but Im sure you can find it cheaper online (Newegg). I probably would of paid less than I did, some items I bought in the store so tax got me. LoL I gotta stop with the "gotta have it now" mentality. Probably could of saved $30 in tax. Oh and the biggest goof: i had Windows XP upgrade and I didnt think it would work on my system so I went and spent $199 for ful version, well the dummy that I am, I wasnt paying attention and put in the upgrade disk instead of the full version just bought.....and the upgrade loaded with no problems lol. Don't ask, Don't speak of it It still gives me a headache thinkig about it lol.
