Hi, I'm looking to purchase a new widescreen LCD monitor and I have the narrowed the search down to two models:
Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP (20")
Samsung 226BW (22")
In Canada, I am able to purchase either of these monitors for $330CAD. I would be using them for a wide range of applications, from office applications to video playback to gaming. Both of these monitors have had excellent reviews, but I'm aware that it is a crapshoot when it comes to the type of panel that you actually receive with either of these monitors. The Dell has a lot more "extras" added on than the Samsung, but the Samsung has a larger screen and allegedly better picture. Is it really a huge benefit to have a height-adjustable stand and S-video and component inputs with the Dell? Any thoughts you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
