Why isn't there a forum search any more? The only search box on screen is for searching the sight in general.

It looks like there is a search box that opens when you go to submit a new post, but why isn't it there all the time?

Ah looks like it's the little magnifying glass symbol. Unless you're reading a message it which case it is grouped with username(??) is that for searching for a keyword from a certain user? Of course if you are starting a new thread it is in a completely different place.

Here's a suggestion, instead of having a different interface to search (or any other standard feature) on each different type of page, why not have a consistent interface for the standard features?
