The total for all of this is 913. What I plan to do is upgrade the processor when AMD comes out with 65nm technology and also upgrade the 7600gt to a mid range DX10 card when they come out. I also plan to overclock this system
If you are waiting for AMD to release a chip with 65nm technology, your board will be outdated by then.
The Nforce 4 Ultra is already "old" for computer standards. The n590 is the lastest but even that might not be good enough. If the next gen AMD chips support Hyperthreading 3.0, you'll need a new mobo. Read here.
What is your current budget? If you want a "K8L" in the future then wait until it comes out and see what specifications it has.
If you must have AMD, get either a 3800 or 4200 dual core. Though, I'd spend the extra money and get a 4200 as it's a great overclocker.
For the HDD, the Seagate Barricuda 7200.10 320GB Perpendicular Drive for 95 would be my choice.
And if you wait for a mid-level DX10 card, you'll probably wait 6 months. Zipzoomfly has the X1950Pro for $199. It's currently out-of-stock but I'm sure they'll get more in soon. And wait for the 8800 series from Nvidia. I'm sure this will be the prices down a little. As it's only 2 weeks away, I'd wait. Though the 7600gt is nice for the price.
That's one nice PSU. Can't say much about the case. Memory looks good.
