Its really that price. Its worth it totally, you can actually reach into the screen and touch the 3D ladies in Sin:episodes. For the record, they feel very lifelike and realistic. The 3D modelers apparently used Saline instead of silicon.........

Anyone who can afford that mother of all monitors probably lives in a mansion and should have no trouble fitting it in... but I wouldn't mind poking a few holes in my walls so I could have that.

Imagine playing Oblivion on that sucker. Too bad you'll need like 4 PCI-E lots combined with 4 7950GX2's and a dual-processor quad-core PC to get the full experience (octo-SLI... is that even possible)?

Yeah, the pixel count on that beast is ridiculous! It takes up more room than the 55" CRT in our living room! :tongue:

Imagine playing Oblivion on that sucker.

Too bad oblivion is graphically superb but otherwise utter crap. Sorry for the harsh words, but oblivion is awful. going the same dungeon anyone? for like 300 times? NO RP at all? I'd give that game 2/6. The one point for graphics. But wait! No! -1 point for a really really bad engine? Prolly worst engine since win 95?

So much for this game and my hete-streak. Now for the monitor.

For this price I'd get myself a decent puter and a 25 inch top of the notch Flatscreen. (not this stupid 5 screen bullshit no one needs.)

rant=over

return=ok

You have a 55" CRT? I think you mean a 55" TV.

Yeah, it's a TV and a CRT. So it takes up a lot of room.

The TV is the device. CRT is the technology. :p
