Reading some reviews they intimate that exotic features aside, recent boards with the same chipset have very similar performance. I'm not intending to run 6 graphics cards together or overclock the CPU to death, so is there any reason not to go for one of the following boards with a Core 2 Duo E6300?

ECS P965T-A
MSI P965 Neo

And if they will both do the job, is one of them better in some way?

Thank you.

If you're not planning on stressing them, either should be fine.

Buy on price, if they're the same price, buy the MSI - they're a Tier One manufacturer.

7 years ago I had bad experiences (plural) with ECS boards with integrated video/sound/network... back then they were the cheapest way on the planet to build a complete system... and well, I got what I paid for. That said... I'd go with the non-ECS board. Yes, I hold grudges longer than I should.
