Ram Question

I have K8V SE Deluxe with 2 512 184 pin ddr 400 ram in my computer. Question is can i leave that ram and put one stick 1Gb 184 want to have 2 Gb of ram onlt have three slots. I no older computer you couldn't do that

His board doesn't support dual channel, it's S754. He should be fine.
