ide detection

hey,
i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions but i had just started playng a game i hadnt really played in a while and it froze and went onto the bluescreen so i just restarted cause this sometimes happens.
When i restarted my hdd could not be found..and it tried to boot from the cd. My hdd is supposed to boot from first but it just cant seem to find it anymore
any help would be appreciated, thanks

try reseating the cables on the board and the drive. Go into bios and see if the drive is being detected. If not then it looks like your drive may have died. Try it in another computer to make sure.
