What is the whole point of this?

its for people that dont know what they are doing, it helps people fix there computers

i say this becasue everyone that knows what they are doing all ready have there own load of third party tools and or a complete backup of there computer in a working state

Well you're wrong shanky. I know what I'm doing (I'm no hacker/programmer, but far from stupid with computers), I simply use the restore instead of other tools, as I have nothing of great importance that I couldn't simply get again easily enough if I did end up with major problems.

This is simply a quick fix if you mess/install with something that ends up creating problems. I've used it maybe once.
