i live in the UK. can u guys please recommend me a psu for AROUND 40 pounds with shipping? My pc specs are as followed:
amd athlon 64 3000+ (754 socket)
k8n neo 3-f
Kingston 1gb DDR400
Connect 3D Ati Radeon X700
Seagate Barracuda 320gb SATA
Sony DVD Writer
5 Case Fans

Well that PSU runns for about $125 USD. That would be about... 200 pounds. If the current exscange rate is 1.6 USD to 1 Pound. It's been alomost 5 years since i was last in the UK.

Err your maths is slightly off.

That would be roughly 80 Pounds, not 200. :wink:

current exchange rate at the time of writing is 1.9 dollars to the pound so you talking £65,

however i would strongly advise you not to skimp on the psu having had one blow on me before taking out my processor with it. if it means having to save for an extra week or borrowing 20 quid from a mate its worth it

guys u are getting out of the budget. i said around 40 pounds with shipping, i.e if it goes to 47pounds with shipping, then it would work fine.
