Motherboard installation

I have a DFI NF ULTRAII-M2 motherboard and a Rosewill R6A34 case. Upon trying to install the motherboard i found 2 cone shaped rubber pieces with adhesive on the larger end of the cone, they are about 1/2 inch thick. There are 2 slots on the motherboard that are directly under the processor that they look like they go into but there is no way that i see to secure them properly. The instructions don't say what they are for and this is my first build, so i'm a bit confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
