I am really curious how PCIe 2.0 will effect performance of different cards, especially on the different chipsets.

This includes x38 chipset with/with out xfire, the new nvidia 780i chipset with/without sli, and them see what the same cards do on the 680i, and p35, and etc. chipsets.

I am in the market for a new computer, and am considering SLI or Xfire for a 24" monitor.

It would be nice to learn how the pcie 2.0 performs.
