7950gx2 questions

hi guys. i need to ask some things.

1) my control panel shows only 512 memory for my card. i read another post that said that this is normal but want to make sure. can someone else with the gx2 card verify this?

also what is the newest driver for the nvidia 7950 gx2 ?

2) in the game Company of heroes i get very very low frame rates ( 10 fps )
does anybody else have the same prob with this game played in this card?

Got the same prob with CoH, low frame rate, about 10!!
Latest CoH patch.
Forceware 91.47
Very strange, ok it's on a Dell 3007@2560x1600 but still it should be better than this.
Messed about with the Nvidia CoH sli profile, barely any change!
Other games no problem, things shift around like a bat out of hell.

If you or anybody finds a solution, let us know please.

Yup, latest bios.
But you comments make me think I could try re-downloading the patch and install it again.
Have also tried the Pure Video HD Beta drivers 92.91, same poor performance, the CoH profile is in those too.
Strange it's just this one app, everything else is fine.

Yea, it is strange, you might have to drop your resolution a bit and benchmark it. I run it at 1600X1200 with ~30FPS, my system is almost the same:

P5N32-SLI Deluxe
PD 805 @ 4.1Ghz
XFX 7950GX2 @500/700
2 GB DDR2-667 4-4-4-10

Basically the code for CoH just sorta sucks from a multi-gpu standpoint. It's a developer problem, not a hardware problem. Hopefully more patches will be forthcoming to address the performance issues, I know the # of people with SLI are the minority, but the numbers are growing and it needs to be taken into account.
