Crack in raidator...what should I do

When I put one of the screws into my raidator to mount one of the fans I screwed it in a little too much and it dented one of the lines in the raidator. It now has a small leak. What can I do to patch the hole. Thanks in advance.

J B Weld Epoxy found at almost any Auto Parts store

Copper radiator? Prefered is solder, but JB weld might work...if you can get it to stick.

Yea, I agree soldering would be best. Can you see where the leak is? If you can, make sure it's completely dry and solder it closed. If you can't see it, I'd just put a lot of JB weld on there and hope for the best.

I just sodered it and then put some jb weld on it and it is fine now. Thank you very much for the quick responses.

you have to be gentle if you block the tube then you block the water flow in your rad...

JB Weld or solder would work either way. Make sure you remove the surrounding paint first then sand it a bit to allow better weld or contact.

Spit on the crack, thats what they do in the movies......er um nvm solder will work fine

Yeah, umm...... just drink the water faster than it leaks out.
