Hi,

On two seperate computers, I've experienced problems with the HP S20
photo/negative scanner usb drivers. Whenever the device is enabled in
device manager, neither a seperate HP scanner (5300C) nor a Canon G3
camera will function properly. The S20 must first be disabled in
device manager, then either of the two other devices enabled in order
to funciton. The error when trying to have the S20 enabled and either
of the other two is:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a
previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38)

You need to restart your computer before the changes you made to this
device will take affect.

Has anyone seen this before or can possibly offer suggestions?
Thanks!

Bob
