question about memory

I have a ECS NFORCE 570 SLIT-A (V5.1) Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI ATX Intel Motherboard I know bad for OC but stock speed is fine with me I also Have Crucial Technology Ballistix 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT6464AA663


Now can I 1 stick of 1 GIG of ram for a total of two or do I have to get another 2 512's

Would like to get 1 stick now and maybe another in 2 or 3 months then eventually replace the 2 512'2 to make total of 4 is this feasable

As long as both channels have the same amount of RAM itll run dual-channel. Read your mobos manual and the stick above the forum.
