Video cards use GDDR memory, which stands for Graphics Double Data Rate. RAM operates in a sort of "rise and fall" fashion. The speed advertised is the combination of the "rise and fall" which comes out to 2.0GHz (effective). If you're still confused, just multiply the "999MHz" value by 2 and you'll see approximately the 2.0GHz they advertise.
Yeah, I know I can multiply 999MHz by 2 and get the rated 2GHz memory clock.
But the thing is, that "999" was displayed as "Requested", and what I want to know is why there's "Current memory clock: 594MHz" displayed right under 999?
