I have a business application that runs charts. I am currently running a single GeForce 7300 GS operating 2 monitors. It uses a single PCI E 16 slot. I want to run 4 more monitors. I have 3 PCI slots available As well as 3 PCIE very short slots (about which I know Nothing). What card or cards would you recommend?? Again no need for 3D or TV just charting software. Also, what software to drive the 6 monitors from one mouse??? Any other considerations I need to take into account?? I am a real newbie in this area.

Personally I'd prefer if you statyed within the Geforce 6200 range, but this FX 5200 should be fine for your needs;

Here's a link to the 6200;

I think the FX5200 has to be you minimum if you're considering Vista, and personally I'd say the GF6200 is the preference for VIsta consideration.

Now what the connection type you need? DVI - VGA or does it matter?
Dual DVI is a little harder to find.

As for PCIe 1X that's nice too and would be better but finding them is hard and finding nV products like that is a little harder.

As for software, once you have it set-up see what nView does for you if it's not good enough look at 3rd party apps like UltraMon which do this better than the bundled ATi and nV software.
