Newegg order (used paypal) hasn't cleared step 1?

Hello, I just placed an order with newegg on sunday night using paypal and it hasn't cleared step 1 yet? the order was for 1200, does that have anything to do with it, if anyone has any experiences with this please let me know?

Send an email or call the company. Maybe they didn't take you serious when they saw your name.

I recently had a similar problem with an order over $1000 and it wasn't newegg that was the problem, it was the bank. Apparently most banks now have a security measure in place that limits the amount of money you can spend per day/purchase. Even though you are going through paypal, paypal is still interacting with the bank. Perhaps you should try calling the your bank and see if they aren't authorizing the purchase because of spending limits placed on your account. Even after I called my bank and got the limits for the day raised (temporarily, resets the next day) the purchase still wouldn't go through until I cancelled the original transaction and then re-ordered making sure no single transaction was over $1000. Hope this helps.
