Well, got my second DWL-G122 from D-Link. First couple of hours ran great,
then froze my laptop rocksolid...
From the first occurance of this problem, I searched I-net and found that
many had the same freezings and crashes.
(Wish I had done this before buying a D-Link DWL-G122...)
It is the chipset (RA2500) in combination with the driver, which wrecks
havoc in the XP Kernel.
Tomorrow will call the shop and ask for a refund or any other brand of
wireless USB dongle.

What
happens when you go wired?
Before using the DWL-G122, I had no trouble with a Sweex 802.11b USB dongle.
I asume a wired connection will give no trouble (Did not try it, though)...
The D-Link dongle works great, but the freezing of my LT is an annoyance.
