The 6400 can easily outperform the 6600 with mild OC'ing and costs much less.
Buy as little OEM as possible, it doesn't come with needed cables, OEM parts are shipped in bubble-wrap with no box, cables or instructions.
Most HDD's, FDD's, DVD R/W, DVD/ROM are OEM and ok.
Retail mobo's come with flat-ribbon cables for the floppy and IDE devices like the DVD/R/W and DVD/ROM they also have SATA cables for the HDD's.
Check prices with Newegg and Directron before ordering from anybody.
good luck

Yeha but if i overclock the 6600 then it would be a beast surely? :p
meh got persuaded into getting it a while ago coz the first choice was a 6400 and now fit my budget around it so not changing!

Yeah tis just the HDD, keybpard, sound card and OSX CD that are coming in OEM so they should be fine yes?

Thanks
