Please keep in mind that most PSU's use Soft-Start technology and require a signal (reference voltage) from the motherboard or CPU before they turn on, you must physically turn the computer on using the front-panel switch.
Just because you plug it into the wall and flip the switch then find that nothing happens is not indicative of a bad PSU.
So before RMA'ing it back to dealer make sure you are properly testing it, the PSU must be plugged into the motherboard and the power button on the face of the PC must be depressed to work correctly.
