Is there a Scanner for 6x17 cm slide positives, or do I need to have them,
the slides, scanned at a professional photo lab? I just need 72 ppi to show
on the web.

The light lid light sources for the Epson 2450, 3170, 3200, 4180, 4870 and
upcoming 4990 are large enough. So is the light source on the Canon 9950,
and I believe, the Microtek i900. You will have to make or obtain a 6x17
holder though.

Doug

I noticed that at your web site you make the holders? With An anti-Newton
Ring glass insert accessory for the MF Film Holder to be used with longer
panoramic films (including XPan) and severely arched or curled film. For
6X17 cm?

I've looked at the Epsons and I find the Microtek ScanMaker i900the best.
If I use the normal 2-1/4 sleves which would hold four 6 X 17 frames,
used in making contact sheets, would I need a anti-newton sheet of glass?
