More Information

I have my E6600 running Orthos-stable at 9x380 (3420 MHz) on my Abit AW9D-MAX, at 1.4V VCore and 1.55V VMCH. Temps are around 57 C during Orthos (in CoreTemp, that is; uGuru reports 10 C lower). I was stable at 9x390 at 1.45V, but temps were in the mid 60s, so I backed down a little - I guess my Zalman 9500 isn't quite up to the task :?

My question now is, what should I do with my RAM? I've got 2x1gb G.Skill ZX, rated DDR2 800MHz, 4-4-4-12 @ 2.0V. I'm running them at 4-4-4-10 @ 1.95 right now, 1:1 with my FSB. I think I can get more out of it. Should I go to 4:5, or should I tighten the timings? If the latter, what's a smart way to go about it (i.e. which timing to decrease first, by how much, etc.)?

This is my first build and attempt at OCing, so I'm sure I could do alot better than I've done so far. Thanks in advance!

Nah, I dont think the ZX will hold 445Mhz. Tighitng the timings would be better here, I would start from right to left. Two at a time for the farthest to the right and one at a time for the rest. Try tweaking them a little cos timngs can be tricky. 2.0v~2.1v would be suitable to ensure stability.
