The purpose of the star function is to encourage quality, informative, posts. My understanding is that it's been disabled for now, because the feature doesn't work as intended, and that the forums programming team wants to focus on core functionality first.

Isn't Tom's hardware located in Marina Del Ray? Beginning to look like the complaints about the new Forumz format have subsided for the mosy part. People learn to use it for what they need and move on like anything else. I mean the forum, not the women hangin' around those parts. 8)
