What is the budget that you have for this PC. You can choose better parts depending on your budget. Also I think you should wait for the GF8 instead of chossing 7950 GX2, GF8 will blow away this cards but there's no enough DX10 games out there yet.

Waiting for your answer

Expensive system for a first build. Hope you don't screw it up and waste money!

Other thoughts: Played Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter on an Asus P5N32 and the damn thing would reboot in the middle of the game every 5 to 10 minutes! I don't know exactly what the problem was, but just check and see if others have that problem with instability and that mobo.

Well first of a I wouldn't waste your cash on a C2D 6800 when you can just get a E6600, it is a great CPU its quick as hell and its perfect for games and mainstream users also you can always over clock it to be equal to a x6800 and save the cash. Also I agree with mingocr83 because from the cash you will save from getting the E6600 you can get a GF 8800GTS/GTX and it will blow anything out there out of the water. And it supports SM4.0 and DX10.

Yes that would be the best. I would wait another... Month and wait tell you get some reviews. And in Game Benchmarks. Non of that 3D MARK crap.
