Nvidia card better with NF4 chipset ?

I have an MSI motherboard with an NForce4 chipset.
I may upgrade my video card for a better one (I got a crappy one, don't ask), am I better off with a nvidia because of the nf4 or It doesn't change anything ?

Considering Nvidia is the primary AMD chipset maker, as long as you're considering a single graphics card configuration, going with Ati or Nvidia is a wash chipset-wise.

Chipset considerations get interesting with SLI or Crossfire (in which cases you pretty much must match chipset and GPU brands), but for a single card... Don't worry about it.

I agree with Mitch. It only matters with SLI or Crossfire not single GPU solutions.
