Heat Problems (Zalman CNPS9500LED )

I have been having some heat issues with my motherboard and CPU. i have got the Core 2 Duo E6600 (temp) 61C. MB ASUS P5W DH Deluxe 55 C. I have just bought the new Zalman CNPS9500LED fan But was not sure what way the fan was to face as it could go 4 ways in my MB. Maybe i have put it facing the wrong direction and its not getting rid of my hot air..??? anyone got any ideas.. ?

The flow of the fan should go towards the rear of the case towards the exhaust fan.
I hope you used arctic silver or a thermal pad also.

and make sure you didn't put too much thermal paste on the cpu

Thanks for the advice. I have changed it round as it was facing the wrong way and now i get 44C CPU and 52C MB . I reapplied arctic silver. and put the little fan that you get with the MB on to the side on the CPU fan. Dose my Temp seem Normal now..? Thanks for your Help.
