Its got the old p4 3.06ghz with the 533mhz FSB. On a 850e chipset.
Its got a Gig of pc800 rdram, and is all stock. (well card is now a lil overclocked just for benching purposes)
I've used alot of different cards, including a (all agp of course, agp 4x even - the mobo) x800 xt pe, 6800gt, 6600gt, 2x x800 pros, 9800pro, 9700pro, ti4600, ti4200, geforce 2 ultra, voodoo 3 2000, voodoo 2 1000 , etc. (of course not all in this system - age restrictions, hah)
Anyways, I thought I'd let ya all know my new 'recorded' 3dmark high. I dont have a x800xt pe score for some reason. I'm sure it would be higher. But here ya go.
Its not GREAT, but for such dated hardware breaking 5k is pretty cool.
Thanks
p.s. its hardly a dell, the 8200 cant have a 3.06 /w HT its very modded, and if looking inside you would see homemade plugs etc, so the damn case fan alarm dont go off etc. Its a retail 3.06 HT, but being how the mobo's bios wont allow HT (It will allow the clock, but no ht) I had too a few years ago use that bios dell accidently put on their website for a few hours but then took off, that enabled the ht on the 8200. anyways, using the stock hs/f, off the 3.06, well the plug was different from what the mobo wanted, (damn proprietary), so i had to jimmy some up. Anyways, several years later here we are. Wish it would do 1066 and its rumored it might, but I dont have 300 bucks laying around to buy a gig of 1066 rdram, so the mobo can underclock it if it dont like it. hah.
The x800xl is a good card mine was a pci express, i still have an old MSI K7N2 delta with a AMD 2800
two mix matched sticks of ram 1024
i got 3DMARKO5 of 4908 with mine,overclocked i got 5128
not bad for older stuff
