I worked up a skt939 system about a yr ago, but never built it. Now I am ready!!!11

I want to stay below $1000 for my box and I know I want these parts; Case Psu Video

I kinda like this piece because there's no northbridge fan on it? (quiet) Mobo

QUESTION: What Mobo/CPU/2Gig Memory Combo is the best bang-for-the-buck right now, for a plug-n-play type individual?

Performance & Stability take precedence over upgradeability. Thanks Guys!

Considering that those four components together leave you with only $247 to play with for the CPU and memory, I'd avise against going for that 1950XTX as it is too expensive for your budget unless you don't mind a single core A64 and 1GB of RAM (or worst, the lowest end Sempr0n if you really really want 2GB of the cheapest DDR2 available)...

You do realize that motherboard is socket AM2? A s939 processor won't work in it.

Oops, my bad, I linked the wrong video card. Its is corrected now.
The 4 parts equal $469 leaving $531
I was just saying skt939 is what I'd wanted last year. I don't have to have that board or psu. I didn't know if 939 or AM2 or E6600 ..etc, would be better now.

I guess to keep me from confusing you further just suggest a whole system for less than $1000. Not planning on over-clocking and upgradability isn't the most important.
