I installed it and ran Oblivion with AA+HDR. Works good.

does the new cataclyst do anything for the older cards like the x850xt which i have? (im using cataclyst 6.9, if im not mistaken), or is it only helpful for new(er) x19xx series cards
, should i bother installing it?

Don't know. But it seems that if you can run the 6.9 drivers, the 6.10 should work too. My personal preference is to stay up-to-date on drivers. Any drivers.

i know i ususally trie to update everything as well, but i was wondering, if there is nothing new for the x850xt series(no performanece/issue fixing) i dont see a need for dlding it, if there is some change then i admit the newest is the best then.
