8800GTX will cost £500

Overclockers UK have said that the 8800GTX will be £500
and the 8800GTS similar to the 7950GX2 in price (About £370 )

I have pricing and it aint nice.

GTS is around current GX2 pricing from OcUK.
GTX is a lot more expensive then current GX2 pricing, about £150 more.

However there is still time for NVIDIA to change pricing prior to launch so things could get cheaper or more expensive. I doubt this will happen as we have been given our buy prices now.

Obviously with product been so tight then expect prices to be high anyway due to simple supply and demand. Anyone who looks surprisingly cheap will no doubt be because they have not been allocated any stock and if you have no stock anybody can advertise a price. OcUK always gets the lion share because we sell the most and we tend to follow the rules most of the time.

One core is allocated 512mb ram, the other 256. It also explains the 384bit memory bus, 256 bits for the 512mb gddr3, and 128 bits for the 256mb gddr3(which would be half the number of physical chips on board).

That does't sound like it would be 2 GPUs then, more like they've split single core functionality over two busses. Anyone know for sure if the 8800 appears as 2 GPUs in sli, like the 7950 does?

These specs don't seem right...
