Anyone bother looking at it lately?

Holy crap.

Information overload.
Someone needs to go back to understand webdesign.

But we sure do have some new animated emoticon thingies that no one uses.

It looks like crap and has too many links.. I thought in the past it was discussed that too many links was a bad thing, hence the whole idea of going with seperate pages to display information about specific groups?

Between the webpage and the forum changing up, this Other is all but dead.
The sections I moderate, which were already slightly slow, have come to a near halt, and now I'm bored at work because of it all.

Take another look, he's been humping a lot lately.

We have about 10 active people posting down here.. I can go through Networking section every 2-3 days and there might be 4-5 new posts.

Bring back the Russian who...honeys.

Aside from people getting banned which wasn't a lot of people in the first place.. I think overall use of the forums have been going downhill for the last two years. When I first started posting I was answering a lot of questions in the Networking section - I could fill the better part of my day answering questions for people and responding to PMs.

Now I can cover the same amount in a few minutes since people really stopped asking questions.. Software has gone the same way.

Hardware is a waste of time in my opinion.. anyone can debate what is better. I only need to know about the new technology, not some dumbass who spends all his money buying hardware for his computer and talks about it with his friends while they drink Code Red.

Heck.. I thought I knew that avatar from somewhere.

i notice things are quite outside of hardware, of course i don't post as much as i do nor do the necessary research to try and help people, used to always be googling and reading but now not so much.

of course, i like the hardware section better as although there are still too many lazy newbie's who ask questions about which 2 year old hardware is better, there is alot less flaming which is nice.

now most of my time is spent going through the forums looking for either interesting topics or posts to which no one has replied and trying to spark interest.

hmm, jost noticed, they have sort of sorted the uk front page's scrolling new forum post thingy, they used to only incude the nest posts from the hardware but it seems they are including the new posts from everywhere, i think wingy should be alerted so as to prepare for the influx of newbie's. Hardly anyone ventures that far down the page as to visit the other but now there are direct link's, who knows what sort of people we will be getting down here, man the 50 cal's people and fire on anyone you don't recognise.

Rise has a nice page at myspace. The information on Toms is therefore relevant to him, right?

I have pictures of anime chicks bouncing their tits. Give me a break.

If you look at all the people on my damn thing they all live elsewhere. Its the easiest way to organize with my friends what's going on.. I can mass mail them all and I can even see when they last checked their mail, over emailing or calling 20 people to find out what time everyone is going to be where ever.

I post a few blogs of articles I like or things I think about.. but that's mainly for my own reference. Top it off my sh*t is private because I only have my friends on there that I want to keep in touch with..

I think I have a picture of my motorcycle up there too after I crashed it because some of my friends wanted to see it. I have worthless information on it and I didn't use one of those damn page designer things.. its all text and a couple pictures I posted via HTML photobucket.

Top that off, all my Ex's are looking me up on there. That entertains me because they want to know what I've been up to since dumping them.
