to get it equip a spooky weapon to your pet and go to the Battledome,
equiped items and then click it to unequip.

I haven't tried yet, and the boards are full of people who will lend for
45-55 thousand NP plus tip.

Are spooky weapons soo rare?

Ya, the cheapest I could find was 67K for an enchanted cobweb.

Lot's of people loaning it out... I decided to just buy the silly thing
and loan it out myself! So, got the avie and a stupid enchanted cobweb
that I'm almost hoping someone steals so I can have the 70k!

I'm doing it for tips, and fun... you don't even know how many times I've
laughed today at the neomails people have sent me! So much fun, people
make up the greatest excuses!

If anyone is interested in borrowing it, my username is gsulois and it's
in my trades on and off, but it's 70k collateral (tho I've said I'll go as
low as 65k so anything above that is fine.)

Well, hope no one is interested in borrowing any time soon... someone I
loaned it to has apparently run off. She put it in trade, I offered all
the stuff she had traded me... and there it sits. I wonder how long I
have to wait before I can lay claim to all those codestones and that Cooty
as abandoned goods... hmmm...

You basically trade it to someone for a price higher than its value, and
then they send it back to you for the same amount minus a tip, if required.

Is this a one-day-only thing? I got lucky because I bought a Spide On A
String to use in the battaledome a couple weeks ago for 5000 and sold it
this morning for 64,750 -- but I wonder if this is like the sudden
inflation on Snicklebeasts a few weeks ago. I had a bunch in stock for
weeks, untouched, then one day they all sold so I put 5 more in at 3 times
the price and THEY all sold, a woman here bragged how she had hundreds she
was going to sell for 11k each, and now a few weeks later they are around
3000 again. Maybe it would be best to wait a few days to get the new
avatar, if you can. Once the fever dies down the prices should, too. That
is -if- you can get the avatar in a week or a month.

even on my radar. I can wait. Something will come my way for cheap.
