Hello. Like everyone else I am soon to buy an E6600 system and I was going to get 2 x 1GB Corsair PC6400 4-4-4-12 as I've always bought memory from them and never had any problems. I have however seen this: http://www.techfever.co.uk/products.asp?partno=0947

A-Data PC6400 cas 4..... and its £30 cheaper than the Corsair.

Does anybody have any experience of A-Data memory and would they recommend it?

I'm planning on using an ABit A9WD board.

Oh.... finally tracked down somewhere who has stock of Mushkin PC6400 4-4-3-10.... read a lot good about this memory... how do you reckon it stacks up against the other two?

Thanks

I havent done any research on them but 1.9v for those timings at stock isnt too shaby. My guessing is that youll be able to keep those timings up to 465Mhz (DDR 930) or more. Looks better than the Corsair just by the specs.

Yeah, apparently it can overclock to 1100 MHz at 5-5-5-15 no problems. I'll never be doing it, but that sort of OC potential should mean its rock-solid at stock.

i bought the a-data 667 in both 1 gig and two gigs on a DS and S3 both for a 6300 and was able to clock the 6300 to 3.2 and 3.4 respectivly....anandtech had a review where they had the ds3 and the 2gig kit up to 3.3 with good timings at 5-5-5-15 which isnt that bad....but if u want to go higher ull need a chipset cooler....i bought the extreme spirit off of a suggestion from this forum and i have yet to test it but ill write back when i do...

i was looking at the mushkin hp2's but they fell outta stock and other places had them for too much....but they are supposed to be a "Gamers Brand"
