Pretty stupid question I know, but here it is:

I have a Intel Duo E6850.
Under the readings, it says it performs at 3.0. As a Duo processor, should I assume it's performing at 3.0 X 2? Or is it underperforming right now?

I'm 99 percent sure it's performing the way it is, but I just don't truely know, and I can't find out the exact answer online..

thanks, and mods this is a worthy thread for delete right after an answer surfaces... lol

Oh, it's definitely under performing. 15min in a nice warm soapy water than stick it up your ***. Should be fine after that.

Great start. Now I'm really looking forward to this...

Good for you. Hooray!

You've misread it. It says it "performs at 3:00". Stay up one night and watch it. At 3am it will do a little song and dance number in a glitzy costume. If you're lucky it might even through in afew risque jokes.

EagleTwelve wrote :

Of course it's performing the way it is. How else would it be performing? Why is there 1% of doubt?

Did you consider the CPU forum at any point?

The Mods won't delete this. Not until Wingy has had his fun, anyway.

In fact, I think I can hear him approaching...

Can't say as I blame him. Oprah's fanny batter is a tad overpowering, must admit

In truth, Digs, I don't have the first focking clue to your question and frankly, I'm thrilled that I don't, if only to assure myself that I'm not too far gone when it comes to pcs.

Lashings of apologies for the stupid remark. If you're considered stupid because you don't know the answer to a benign technical question, then it is, indeed, a sad world that we've developed.
