Nobody has it yet, though. Only place I can find it for sale is a shady australian dealer, for 1799 AUS.

yeah so GO kentsfield!

The video should have shown a few apps running, so we could see if it indeed appears more responsive. Also, Crashman should have done the video....his article.

It's a good teaser.
Well done Crash. I hope that this means saintblabs has finally seen what many here have known for a while.

So you've had experience dealing with pluscorp?

Their price is just a tad higher than what they're asking for a x6800... Plainly marked eta Dec., so where's the 'shady' bit come from?

They are not the highest, nor the lowest priced on anything in AUS, their service is good, and their communications are excellent. If there's a delay in your order, they tell you up front so you don't have chase them down.

I'm from Australia and although I have never bought anything from Pluscorp, their reputation amongst enthusiasts is first rate. 8)

Crash did that? Awesome.

I really hope that this make AMD drop its prices even more. I want to get something like X2 3800+ but I need prices to drop just a bit more.

I don't think it will affect prices on low-end AMD cpu's much, they're in completely different market sectors. Good luck though, maybe there'll be a small drop.....
