The new drivers are seriously messed up. I'm not sure if this is applies to other graphics cards, but with the 7950GX2 it doesn't test overclock stability. At all.
Maybe we should start a lawsuit with nvidia for false readouts of clock speeds making their products look better than they are. Everyone in the forums can chip in $100 and we should have enough to take them on
Ok, but i need your account name and password, your credit card number, PIN, name and address, and a copy of your signature just in case. Ive got connections at AMD/ATI so we may be able to get some backup from them.

Throw in your checkbook while you're at it. But if you plan on including AMD/ATI, dont count out Intel jumping in to save nVidia's a$$.
Summon the AMD/ATI fanboys of the world, and it's game on.
This is very odd. I've always criticized ATI for their lackluster drivers in the past (particularly in Linux). But ATI's current update has been the best yet. Fixed a WoW problem (very irritating framerate drop when looking at the horizon) and a problem with alt-tabbing out of a full-screen application.
Mine was supposed to display 1.33. It's stock at 1.2.
It's however displaying 2.66.
It was fine with the 91.47 version.
I got a reply from nVidia:
Quote :
Hello Alex ,
Thank you for contacting NVIDIA Customer Care
As i understand , you seem to be facing an issue with overclocking the graphic card using the latest 93.71
We recommend that you revert back to the 91.47 graphics driver till a solution is fixed for this issue.
If NVIDIA is able to reproduce your bug, we will work towards providing a fix through our next driver update release.

The thing is that it has nothing to do with overclocking. Just the simple readings of the memory speed is wrong! Whether or not it's overclocked is another matter.
It's funny how every other case of support they always start by asking if you're using the latest version of the drivers. Quite ironic.
