Cant get desktop windows 7

I have a Laptop(Y50series), with windows7 OS .When i logged into my laptop i cant get my desktop ,instead of it i am directly going into my document page .And when i pressed WINDOWS key its IDLE (no response from it).Please provide me the solution i will be more thankful to them.......

press controll,shift and escape then click file,new task

type in explorer.exe this will load a new desktop proccess

you can also end the documents proccess from in here, it could be a virus

Thanks for your valuable support sir ,i got my desktop back .but when i logged off and re-login it goes to the same problem
