BFG Tech BFGR79256GTOCE GeForce 7900GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card http://www.newegg.com/product/prod [...] 6814143048
with a sony trinitron 32" flat tube tv.
using component out on 15' unshielded rca cables.(but does not go near any electronic equipment)
at 800x600 resolution, 60hz, 480i

its too consistent to be interference, my thoughts are refresh rates?

any input/suggestions on the topic would be much appreciated.

Did you try to use the svideo port rather than the rca jack also the hardware manual for nvidia chip recommands to use no longer than 6ft for best performance.
