After upgrading to Windows 7, my Acer Aspire L5100 Desktop PC ethernet connection has stopped working. The Device Manager says "the drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)" Already tried the drivers from the acer site - still no joy. The PC did not have a back up CD. Any ideas folks? Many thanks, Jack.

If you can find Vista drivers for your laptoo they will work fine.
Do you know which chipset your motherboard is based on ?
