Idiot needs help.

I have another post in the community area. Basically I need to toss my Dell Case/PSU and Mother board. My P4 3.2 cpu is still good, so I need to locate a board. But more importantly I need to find a new Case and PSU!

the system specs were a P4 3.2 with 2g ram(4sticks). an ATI Radeon 9800 256, 3/5 floppy, DVD-Rom, DVD-RW, 80g maxtor HD, and an SB audigy 2. I don't have specifc info on hand, but it's certainly no monster.

I suggest a Antec Sonata II, no bad looking, decent cooling, included PSU will be more then enough. and it's not to expensive. 99$
(if you go this road, I dont suggest using the aire duct, it's a pain!

For the motherboard is your CPU s478 or LGA775?

For the motherboard I think the Epox was'nt to bad ans the P4S from asus is fine too.

I would stay away from any chipset that aint intel 865/875. I think the MSI could be a good choice...

I'm wondering if it would be easier (not cheaper..) but easier to just go for a new cpu and upgrade..
