I just recently purchased a laptop with an intel 8100 cpu with VT. I have been reading many articles with mixed reviews of this new feature. I would like to see an article describing some of the features of the Intel VT and AMD-V technologies, performance details (if possible, like with/without VT), and what programs support/not support VT. Programs such as VMware, Parallels, and Virtual PC 2004/2007. From what I have been reading, this new (hardware acceleration) for OS emulators isn't what it is all cracked up to be. Thanks.
