I followed Wusy's guide to overclocking, but any overcloking that I do. My system will have random reboots. Here are my specs:
Gigabyte 965P DQ6
E6700 CPU
2gig Kingston optima PC5300 DDR2
Zalman 9500led
ATI 1900GT
Antec NEO HE 550

I've tried overclocking to 3ghz and 3.3 ghz, with no luck. My temps with intel TAT are about 52-54C. Mid 40s not overclocked. Any help will be appreacited.

How high have you pushed the FSB? your ram is only rated at DDR2-667 which means that you might not be able to push the FSB any higher the 333, i forget the multiplier on the 6700 but your ram could be holding you back...You have increased the voltage too right?

Your temps also look a little high for that Zalman cooler, i mean stock coolers at in the 30C or maybe 40C, try re-seating your cooler also

I haven't set my FSB any higher than 333 and my multiplier is at 10. Also I'm a bit confused on what temps to go by. Easytune 5 and speed fan CPU temps read about 25c. I've raised my temps to 1.375 and 1.4.

Even so it still might be your ram, i don't know if that ram is "value" ram or not, i personally have never heard of it, although its rated at DDR2-667 it might be under performing.

Also have you tried to incrementally increase the FSB rather than jump to 333

Oh and one last thing make sure you giving both your ram enough voltage...that could also be the cause

and last thing maybe try upping the voltage to the cpu to see if you can stabilize it.

And to confirm your system is stable you should run prime torture to make sure you system is stable to begin with rather than finding out later by random reboots

You could lap the heatsink and apply better thermal paste (I believe zalman packs cheap white goop with their HSFs). But I doubt this is cause. Dont worry about temps until theyre <75c in TAT and CoreTemp either.

Look at any other thing you dont use in the BIOS and disable it.
PCIe voltage = vMCH

I actually applied some artic silver 5 to my heatsink. While running Prime95 torture test my temps go to about 59-61C. I did play around with some of my voltages. I was able to run the torture test for 5 1/2 hrs before I received any errors. Is this considered stable? Before playing with with some of my voltages it would only run for about 10min.
