2 RAM Questions~

Right now I have 2 X 512MB DDR2-800 sticks, I plan on adding another 1GB stick eventually.

***1. So my first question is that how should I setup the sticks of RAM, I will have 1 GB stick, and 2 512 sticks. So I think I should put it like as followed

Slot 1 - 1 GB Stick
Slot 2 - (1) 512 MB Stick
Slot 3 - Empty
Slot 4 - 2nd 512 MB Stick

My mobo is setup as followed.

Slot 1 and 3 are for Dual Channel
Slot 2 and 4 are for Dual Channel

***2. My question 2nd question is how much will 2 GB help rather then 1 GB on like bootup etc.?

The configuration looks fine. Dont know about your second question.

Thats exactly how you need to set it up for dual channel.
In bootup speeds you wont notice much difference since thats more depending on the HDDs burst speed and processor. But youll be able to multitask twice as freely and run games much more comfortably.
